Alexandria implants
If you have one or several missing teeth that need to be replaced, you may be thinking about getting dental implants. At our dental practice, Dental Excellence, our top-notch dentist, Dr. Sheri Salartash, can provide you with
Alexandria implants, and talk to you about the pros and cons of dental implant treatment.
Patients enjoy getting Alexandria implants to replace their missing teeth because dental implants look, feel, and function just like permanent teeth. There is no other way you can experience this type of dental solution which is so close to having your original tooth once again in place. However, there are some drawbacks to getting dental implants. It is important that patients are excellent candidates for getting dental implants, or the procedure will most likely not be successful. You must have a jawbone that is thick enough to tightly hold the new dental implant root, and healthy enough to fully heal from the dental implant surgery. Treatment time for getting dental implants can vary, but can take as long as six months. This is because there is a healing period from the surgery, and time also needs to be allowed for the dental implant root to fuse to the jawbone. In addition, dental implants can usually be more costly than other tooth replacement solutions, such as dental bridges or dentures, because they require oral surgery, and take more time to complete. Additionally, dental implants do require that the patient undergoes oral surgery. If you do not want to have oral surgery, then you will want to go with a different tooth replacement solution. However, even given all of these reasons, there really is nothing quite as wonderful as getting a dental implant. The dental implant will look perfectly natural in your mouth, and you will be able to eat and speak with complete confidence. And, if well taken care of with regular brushing and flossing, there is no reason why your dental implant should not last a lifetime.
